VTCT Manicure & Pedicure + Level 2 Nail Enhancements
Our combination course offers both Manicure & Pedicure and the Level 2 Nail Services (Nail Enhancements) providing learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to work as a full servicing nail technician.
VTCT Qualifications - VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments
Course Unit Structure:
-Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
-Provide manicure treatments
-Provide pedicure treatments
-Follow health and safety practice in the salon
-Provide and maintain nail enhancement
OR
NVQ Qualification - VTCT Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Nail Services
Course Unit Structure:
-Provide manicure services
-Provide pedicure services
-Carry out nail art services
-Apply and maintain nail enhancements to create a natural finish
-Fulfill salon reception duties
-Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
-Promote additional services or products to customers
-Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety
Students can select either the VTCT OR NVQ qualifications.
This qualification also provides suitable progression opportunities to Level 3 Nail studies.
These include the VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Nail Services or VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology.
Progression opportunities also exist in the form of specialist VTCT vocationally related qualifications at
Levels 2 and 3.
