Practical skills learned include skin analysis to determine the most suitable course of treatments and range of products to use, cleansing, balancing, toning, moisturising, steaming, extraction, a full facial massage routine, selecting and applying tailor-made face masques.



The theory portion of this course involves the anatomy & physiology of the upper torso, including the muscles, bones, blood and nerve supply and an in-depth study of the skin. This course encompasses Health & Safety, Client Care & Communication into the qualification allowing you to deliver a hygienic, safe and effective treatment to each of your clients.



Progression from this course allows you into the VTCT Level 3 Electrical Face and Body courses and VTCT Level 3 Beauty Therapy, as well as a great pre-requisite to further advanced courses such as VTCT Level 4 Laser and IPL Treatments, VTCT Level 4 Microblading and VTCT Level 4 Micropigmentation.
