Hot Stone Massage involves the application of contrasting warm heated and cold stones made of different natural materials with various properties on parts of the body during a Massage treatment. It benefits the underlying muscles and tissues by relaxing tissues, loosening and easing tension and pain and aiding the circulatory system to assist in lymphatic drainage and healing from within the body.


The Hot Stone Massage course is an advanced course for those who are undertaking or who have completed Level 3 Body Massage or Swedish Massage.


The course is intended to give practitioners the understanding in the use of hot and cold stones for a massage treatment as well as knowledge on how to heat, cool, clean and store them for use.


This course can be used towards Beauty Therapy Level 3.
